Hi!

Anybody here using a card with such a chipset in DMA mode?
The one I have bought and just installed does not seem to handle dma at
all... Did I miss some initial setup stepps? (it is a Leadtek one).

[root@iq /root]# hdparm -Tt -d1 /dev/hde

/dev/hde:
 setting using_dma to 1 (on)
 HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted
 using_dma = 0 (off)
 Timing buffer-cache reads: 128 MB in 2.33 seconds =54.94 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads: 64 MB in 30.04 seconds = 2.13 MB/sec
[root@iq /root]# hdparm -i /dev/hde

/dev/hde:
