The ABI developed for GNU/Linux on 64-bit PowerPC is based on the
AIX PowerOpen ABI combined with the ELF file format. The SVR4 PowerPC ABI
only is for 32-bit PowerPC. AIX uses "unsigned long" for size_t, so I do
not think that there is any problem or limitation.
