because of problems with asus-sp3 (SiS) in conjunction with scsi-cdrom,
we ordered a ga-5486al (ALI chipset).

with this board, it is impossible to reboot.
the three-finger-salute will run rc.6 and unmount all fs, then
will write "Rebooting" and then the machine will hang.

I tried with 1.2.13 and 1.99.7, same result.

hm. well. *scratch* ... fyi, it is possible to ctrl-alt-del-reboot from
m$/dos.

hardware: i486/100, 2 x teles ISDN, Cyclades 16Port(pci), aha2940 and a
noname videocard (pci) and a ne2000 clone.
works fine except rebooting. I can try removing all hardware except
the video card, but I'm afraid the machine still will not reboot.
anyway, I'll try...
