I can't use sound as a module in 1.99.6, depmod gives the following
complaint:

[sasami ~] depmod -ae
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/1.99.6/misc/sound.o
unload_mpu401

I compiled the sound as module without mpu-401 support, so this is
obviously a bug.
