I've also been seeing this. You're using Debian, aren't you?
They have done something with the modules-1.3.69f package, that I don't
understand why (something about return-values !?!)
I downloaded modules-1.3.69f from http://www.pi.se/blox/modules/
and compiled and installed it and now it's ok again.
