Just tried to use the printer for the first time in a year. ;)

# cat /proc/sys/dev/parport/parport0/hardware
base: 0x378 (0x778)
irq: 7
dma: none
modes: PCSPP,TRISTATE,EPP

# cat >/dev/lp0
bash: /dev/lp0: No such device

# lsmod
[...]
parport_pc 14044 0
parport 28480 0 [parport_pc]
[...]

No problems with 2.2.14.
Are there any known problems with 2.3.* parport code?
