That suggests you are seeing a real problem. In paticular if you see
burst/pause/burst/pause chekc that the cards are negotiating full/half duplex
correctly and that the log doesn't contain IRQ timeouts.

The UDP test isnt a very good check, the slow ftp is a veyr good check
