Just a simple qustion about 'ioremap'

I have a problem with 'ioremap'. When I install a module (using ismmod) I
got a strange message: 'unrecognised symbol ioremap' or smoething like
that. This module compiles correctly without any warnings.
I have 2.2.x kernel.
Could anybody give me any suggestions pleasse ?
