This seems to be a compiler problem.
Which gcc do you use (gcc 2.7.x, gcc 2.8.x, egcs, pgcc) ? If you don't
know, what distribution do you use ?
And does it fail regularly like this ?

Most of this information was irrelevant, especially about sound
modules/hardware configuration/X servers. But this line tells us you're
running Mandrake, about whom I read many bug reports (compiling the kernel
with bad compilers etc).

insn is a compiler internal. You need a working compiler (try gcc-2.8.1).
Btw: Try to reproduce the problem. It could also be a hardware fault
(although improbable).
