Hello Alan and friends.

Noramly i keep my thoughts to myself, however the list of compile
warnings is getting larger here.
Some of the warnings could be due to me using egcs-2.91.66
I have a standard Redhat-6.0 installed here, that should say enough
concerning libs etc.

I have not included my .config file, if anyone wants it for what its
worth they are welcome, just ask its yours.

compile errors with 2.2.14pre9 as follows.
make bzImage.

ip_masq.c:322: warning: `masq_port_lock' defined but not used
ip_masq_mod.c:36: warning: `masq_mod_lock' defined but not used
mtrr.c:305: warning: `main_lock' defined but not used
apm.c:779: warning: unused variable `flags'

At a first glance after 2 hours uptime it all seems ok.

execpt for the following found in /var/log/messages mheardd uses obsolete (PF_INET,SOCK_PACKET) Nov 26 17:08:31 pa3gcu modprobe: modprobe: insmod lo:49 failed Nov 26 17:08:32 pa3gcu network: Bringing up interface lo succeeded Nov 26 17:08:39 pa3gcu modprobe: modprobe: insmod eth0:49 failed Yes 49 entries. Nov 26 17:08:39 pa3gcu network: Bringing up interface eth0 succeeded Using modutils 2.3.6 Why all the modprobe messages when it really attaches the interface properly, and yes i have cheanged /etc/modules.conf to conf.modules O well i suppose thats a modultils problem and not a kernel one.

Anyway, Alan and all, thanks for all your fine work.
