Hello,

I can't help you with everything but according to you listings below,
you forgot to compile some fonts into kernel. I'm using aty128fb too
and have to choose at least 8bb and 8x8 and 8x26 fonts (all that stuff
is in advanced section in fbcon settings). Your first two problems
I'm not able to solve (however I have only one card ;-) ...
