latest kernels are borken for me

Well, I had it enough !
</rant>

Every kernel > 2.2.7 is broken for me. I constantly have misterious
hangs with apsolutely nothing in logs. Since this is headless station
(in rack box) I can't tell is there anything on screen. And yes, I've
put a monitor for testing with 2.2.13 and with that kernel I got three
hangs in a week with blank screen. SysRQ does not respond.
(ps alan, and yes 13pre17 did hang too despite my positive info)

This is SMP + IDE + SCSI (aic7xxx) + 128MiB RAM with regularly updated RH52.
(YES, it's still gcc 2.7.2.3)

Box is small web server and moderate listserver with running
mysql, ippl and icecast.

Latest kernel that I've tried is 2.2.13 (writing this on 2.2.7)

Can anybody help !?
