Sound, using esd, was working for me in 2.3.18ac10, but now
in 2.3.21 I get: "/dev/dsp: Cannot allocate memory"

#############################
amber:~> strace esd

open("/dev/dsp", O_WRONLY) = -1 ENOMEM (Cannot allocate
memory)
write(2, "/dev/dsp: Cannot allocate memory"..., 33/dev/dsp: Cannot
allocate memory) = 33
_exit(2) = ?
