You're testing your luck with 2.95.1.
I had two boxes, AMD K2-450 and old 486/66
Compiled kernels with 2.95.1 with same config in both boxes.
kernel would run fine on AMD but panic on 486.
recompiled kernel for 486 with 2.7.2 and it runs just fine.
