Re: Kernel 2.2.12 oops (swaper - cyclades - ppp)

I've seen almost identical oops in the kernel, although I am using
a specialix board with a driver from BitWizard. Given this I suspect
the problem may be a little lower than the board-level driver. This
was seen in 2.2.10 with ppp - usually when I try to kill off a ppp
connection (but not always). The specialix driver doesn't have a
BLOCKMOVE define so I suspect I'll have to either pass this back to
BitWizard or to delve deeper in the code and see if there are similar
optimizations.

I was actually about to upgrade to 2.2.12 in the hope that this would
sort the problem out, but given the similarity I will do a little
more digging.

Maybe this may clarify the problem for those on the list with more
of an in-depth knowledge than I.
