the sb1000 driver is merged into the Kernel tree as of 2.2.10.

Are you using a 3rd party module or the one that comes with the kernel?

Hello,

I can't get my general instruments sb1000 cable modem working after
compiling kernel 2.2.11. Afterwards I went to Clemmit Sigler's
sb1000 web page, and then I patched the 2.2.11 kernel and recompiled
it. Still, I can't connect to my ISP (Adelphia). This is the output
of what I get when starting the sb1000 under kernel 2.2.7:

Now in pre-2.2.11 kernels, all I did was run Clemmit's sb1000 auto-install
script, and everything worked fine. Should I re-run the auto-install script
after compiling the newer kernel? Should I compile cmconfig.c alone?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
