I have a green753+ laptop with 80MB of RAM, Intel Pentium 166mhz MMX
As I installed Linux several times without any problem, I would like to =
install Linux 2.2.6 on my laptop.
Unfortunately, every time I boot with the bootdisk (bare.i or bareapm.i) =
the system crashes during the partition check with an error similar to =
the one below (with or without parameters for the ramdisk : mem=3D81920k =
or 0x500000; hda=3D4200,16,63 (Toshiba MK2101MAN 2.1GB); ro).
Tired to boot and boot again on floppy, I decided to install the =
zipslack hoping I could have a log somewhere. But unfortunately the =
result is the same : Crash during partition check with the following =
error (launched without parameters so 64MB max):

With the zipslack I've been able to check the system.map to find where =
it crashed.

I thank you for your help
