LS 120 Booting ?

Has anyone tried booting a linux kernel from an LS-120 drive ?

The problem I am having is that after this is what I get :

Loading....................

Invalid compression (err=2)

- System Halted -

Or something like that...

The Windows 95/98 boot floppy works fine.
