knfsd and nfs v3 ?

Hi!

I am using linux-2.2.6 and wanted to patch it in order to use
the latest knfsd-patch and the latest nfsv3-patch.
Actually after applying both patches the kernel will not
compile anymore as NFS3_ACCESS_READ is undefined in nfs3proc.c

Details:

http://www.CSUA.Berkeley.EDU/~gam3/knfsd/
says to first apply Tronds nfsv3-Patch which I did
(linux-2.2.6-nfsv3-0.8.1.dif) and after that I applied
linux-2.2.6-knfsdv3.diff

After the first patch, nfs3.h was including lines like

#define NFS3_ACCESS_READ 0x0001

which are actually needed by nfs3proc.c but after applying
the knfsd-Patch these are removed again from nfs3.h:

-/* Flags for access() call */
-#define NFS3_ACCESS_READ 0x0001
-#define NFS3_ACCESS_LOOKUP 0x0002
[...]

The question is now: why? ;-) Actually the kernel will not compile
without it (thus knfsd and nfs3 not working together).

Any help would be nice

best,
Christian
