DMA Disabled?

Below is part of a 2.2.5 boot log that tells me that my DMA is disabled.
It also claims the IDE controller is unknown. This is a Asus P5A
motherboard which I figured would be common. I don't see this message on
other machines with other motherboards. What changes need to be made to
fix these?
