as a suggestion, how about:

--Network compatibility fixes section--------
< > Disable Broken TCP fix for Xyz OS
< > Disable Broken TCP fix for Abc OS
< > Disable Broken IP fix for Blah

This way the default kernel maintains active fixes and disabling such is
necessarily manual.
