2.2.5ac7 IDE-SCSI Generic SCSI issues back

2.2.5ac1 writes CDs just fine. 2.2.5ac7 has the old mess back:

This is writing CDs on a CRW-1622 via ide-scsi. 2.2.0 works 2.2.1-2.2.5 is
broken. 2.2.5ac1/2 worked fine.
