Kernel Out of Memory

The occurred under sorta heavy load, around 1.8 or so. The kernel just upped
and killed cdparanoia that was ripping an entrire cd..occured at track 6. The
system is a Suse 6.0 AMD 200 k6 80 MB ram (EDO DIMM) and 80MB swap with about
700 k of the swap used.
What is going on here?
