Hello Linus (and Co.),

I have a strange problem trying to keep my alpha axpci33 up and running
i have 2 ncr 810 controlers (1 on board and 1 on the pci bus) this worked
okay until kernel version 2.2.0-final all the kernels after that keepon
comming up with this error..

aborting command due to timeout : pid 9, scsi1, channel 0, id 0, lun0 test
unit ready 00 00 00 00 00
ncr53cxx_abort pid=9 serial_number=15 serial_number_at_timeout=15
ncr53c810-1: abort ccb=fffffc0000008f40 (cancel)
SCSI host 1 is abort (pid 9) timed out - reseting
SCSI host is being reset for host 1 channel 0
and then it keeps on going..

The strange thing is that alle the kernels i tested used the same version
of the ncr53cxx scsi driver so i think the problem must be somewhere else
in the kernel... tryed kernels up to 2.2.2-pre1
