nfs
===

Running a few bonnies over NFS from a 2.2.0-pre2 system to another
using nfs-server-2.2beta37-1 from RedHat 5.2 gives me lots of

kernel: nfs: task <PID> can't get a request slot

on the client. No messages on the server.

cdrom
=====

Mounting a CD on a scsi cdrom connected to a Future Domain TMC-36C70
using mount-2.9g-1 gives me this error:

kernel: sr0: CDROM (ioctl) reports ILLEGAL REQUEST.

2.0.36 on the same system says

kernel: sr_photocd: ioctl error (SONY/PIONEER): 0x28000000
kernel: sr_photocd: ioctl error (SONY/PIONEER): 0x28000000

The same CD can be mounted on both 2.2.0-pre2 and 2.0.36 on a IDE
CDROM without errors. I'll try another SCSI controller and the same
cdrom drive later.

su
==

When using 2.0.36 or 2.1.122, syslog logs "login[353]: ROOT LOGIN ON
tty1" when somebody su:s to root. With 2.2.0-pre2, things break and
syslog says

Jan 1 01:45:38 localhost -- root [354]: ROOT LOGIN ON tty1

And yes, the line is really that long, filled with whitespace.

I am using su (GNU sh-utils) 1.16 from RH 5.2

Boot messages
=============

When the system boots, I get

kernel: Error seeking in /dev/kmem
kernel: Error adding kernel module table entry.

Why? Local config error?
