Hello all, hopefully this is relevant, as it's my first post here.

I've been using 2.1.130 happily now, and today have tried 2.2 pre1. I get
an oops right at the point it should be loading my scsi driver.

The system: Dual pentium 233MMX, 128meg ram, adaptec 2940 UW scsi card
(bios revision 1.25)

Kernel 2.2 pre 1, compiled w/ aic7xxx, scsi disk, generic, and cdrom, no
ide support, soundblaster 16 and pci-ne2k.

Here's the error, with the previous line of messages for context:

Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer deference at virtual address 000000c3
current-> tss.cr3 00101000, %cr3 = 00101000
