The alpha build seems to be broken lately. This with 2.1.132-ac3:

make[1]: Entering directory `/big/linux-2.1.132-ac3/arch/alpha/kernel'
/big/egcs-1.1b/gcc/xgcc -B/big/egcs-1.1b/gcc/ -D__KERNEL__ -I/big/linux-2.1.132-ac3/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -mno-fp-regs -ffixed-8 -mcpu=ev4 -c -o core_lca.o core_lca.c
core_lca.c:435: conflicting types for `lca_machine_check'
proto.h:61: previous declaration of `lca_machine_check'

core_lca.c talks about unsigned longs where proto.h calls them u64s.

make[1]: Entering directory `/big/linux-2.1.132-ac3/arch/alpha/lib'
/big/egcs-1.1b/gcc/xgcc -B/big/egcs-1.1b/gcc/ -D__KERNEL__ -I/big/linux-2.1.132-ac3/include -c -o stxcpy.o stxcpy.S
stxcpy.S:22: alpha/regdef.h: No such file or directory

The same thing happens with stxncpy.S, strchr.S, strrchr.S,
strncpy_from_user.S and strlen_user.S.

Does anyone know the last time that the kernel built for the alpha?

Tim.
