It's quite possible that, give equal drives, that IDE will be faster
than SCSI. But if you're trying to add more than 1 drive (2 drives
if you're running with a chipset that allows both IDE chains to run
at the same time; I guess you could add a few more with plug-in
IDE cards, but that's getting pretty sick) you're pretty much out
of luck with IDE.
