It's actually my fault it's not at the Lancs site this time, so don't blame
the sysadmins there. :-)
Because a few serious bugs in 1.48 were reported quite early on I was
intending to make a 1.49 release not long afterwards that would supercede it,
and it didn't seem worth going through the process of uploading 1.48 to the
ftp server and getting it moved to the right directory. I didn't get around
to 1.49 quite as quickly as I'd like but hopefully I'll have time to do it
shortly.
