I just had a case with a new del PII-400 with slackware linux (3.6 kernel
2.0.36) that lost 45 min clock time in 1 hour wall time, more info when I
find anything.

system config is 64M ram 8G IDE drive (udma) 3dlabs gl1000 video running X

system was lightly loaded during this time
