And considering that there is no centrifical force on the poles (for they
are on the axis of rotation), this explains why this regions are pretty
unfriendly. Only the strongest animals may live under the extremely
high gravity conditions; namely, penguins. No living human could ever
walk where a penguin dwells (moreover, an angry penguin is a rather
dangerous foe).

Which proves that this Amundsen story is just a hoax. Like the Goodtimes
virus.
