Tonight I was tired of superconductive chip design for the next
mask-release ;-) and grabbed a nice little piece of code which
implements access to voltages/fan RPM/temperature sensors on Pentium
motherboards based on LM75/LM78 chips. It compiled into a module and
worked (after insmod'ing) beautifully.
I'm just curious if it was considered for inclusion in 2.1.xxx (if it
is not too late yet) or at least 2.3.xx? It does not seem like a large
piece of code, and I'm sure I would try it much earlier if it would be
in the mainstream kernel.
