Why does it matter? I can understand censoring the boot logo, boot mesgs
and even the compile options (anyone seen the "checking for -life signs in
Kenny... :) ), but no pointy-haired types are going to be rooting around
in the source code.

Depends on your definition of "acceptable". I don't have a problem with
profanity in source code, especially since it won't ever be seen by during
"everyday use".

I'm not offended, and I'm not trying to start a flame war about ethics
either. I just think it's a bit ridiculous to censor our comments because
someone, somewhere might get offended.

If it really matters that much, then we can replace all the offensive
words with consonants and strategically placed asterisks (eg fuck -> f*ck,
shit -> sh*t, etc). :)
