I'm getting alot of these messages after upgrading to 2.1.125:

pppd[6638]: Protocol-Reject for unsupported protocol 0x7621
pppd[6638]: Protocol-Reject for unsupported protocol 0x908d
pppd[6638]: Protocol-Reject for unsupported protocol 0x8d
pppd[6638]: Protocol-Reject for unsupported protocol 0x3c8b

The protocol numbers vary dramatically and don't seem to have any
(easily observable) pattern.

pppd version 2.3 patch level 5

[back40:~ 0]$ ifconfig ppp0
ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol
inet addr:209.86.58.209 P-t-P:168.121.1.1 Mask:255.255.255.255
UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:3100 errors:54 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:54
TX packets:3436 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
Collisions:0

Almost everything is built as modules:
[back40:~ 1]$ lsmod
Module Size Used by
ppp 17724 2 (autoclean)
autofs 8872 2 (autoclean)
slip 7500 2 (autoclean)
slhc 4416 3 (autoclean) [ppp slip]
af_packet 5976 3 (autoclean)
unix 9756 56 (autoclean)
serial 17668 4 (autoclean)
dummy 704 1 (autoclean)

I'm connecting through mindspring, and can't say that they've done
nothing... but this seemed to coincide with 2.1.125 install this
weekend.

Regards,
