This won't work. You might like to investigate Compaqs Server Recovery Option
which allows one array to be *switched* between two servers though.
(Available on the 5000s upwards I believe) The only single point of
failure would then be the RAID system itself[1], but this is unlikely if
the array has 2 power supplies. This is a *manual* switch however.
