non-kernel question for the experts...

Sorry for asking here but I'm sure somebody here has an answer and I
haven't gotten one anywhere else yet. So, feel free to respond directly
to me instead of the list.

I have this AGP video card made by some company called Procomp. It uses
the SiS6326 chip. According to SuSE, they have an X server that
supports that chip, but I can't get X to come up with it. I'm running
XFree86 3.3.2.3 which I believe to be the latest version. When I start
X, the screen blanks, but it never really starts. Eventually I can
<CTRL><ALT><F1> and it brings me back to the text screen. 2.0.35 tells
me the connection was refused. 2.1.124 doesn't tell me anything at all,
no errors.

Has anybody had experience with this SiS6326 chipset? Anybody running X
with it?

Thanks.
