2.0.35 paging fault

I have a 166MHz Intel Pentium MMX running Linux 2.0.35, a Debian
2.0 installation... it's a slightly loaded general user server: mail, irc,
doing nfs serving, you know. Connected to the local ethernet with a 3com
509 card. It has 64 megabytes of memory and a 128 MB cache. It's been up
continuously for a couple of months now, no hardware changes for the last
year. Suddenly, as I was sitting at the console doing nothing special
(~30 users were in, not a heavy load, there was free memory) the machine
froze for a couple of seconds and then these messages popped onto the
screen:

Warning: kfree_skb passed an skb still on a list (from 015fa604).

Any ideas what might have been the cause of this? I really don't
want this baby to crash, it's a long drive to come and reboot it if it
someday does.
