2.1.124 works on my UP Pentium, and unlike 2.1.123, I can't oops it
anymore.
However, the dependency generator is broken - I compiled the kernel
without
Unix98 pty support, then turned it on in menuconfig and it didn't
recompile
until I did a `make clean'.
