My setup looks much the same, AHA2940-AU (Ultra disabled), 1.1 Gig HD and
FUJITSU-Model: M2513A MO drive.
I'm on kernel 2.1.124 which may make a difference and using the 5.1.0-pre-15
patch from ftp://ftp.dialnet.net/pub/linux/aic7xxx/
I jus did the reformatted an OS/2 M.O, using fdisk and setting up one partition
starting at cyl. 1 and ending at cyl. 217, did a mke2fs /dev/sdb1 222192
followed by an e2fsck and it mounts fine, I tested this out a moment ago to see
if it still works, I don't know for OS/2 or DOS M.O's as I've not tested them,
being only interested in EXT2 so far.

Disk /dev/sdb: 64 heads, 32 sectors, 217 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 2048 * 512 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sdb1 1 217 222192 83 Linux native

[bumble:~]# fdisk -v
fdisk v2.8
[bumble:~]# e2fsck -V
e2fsck 1.12, 9-Jul-98 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
Using EXT2FS Library version 1.12, 9-Jul-98
[bumble:~]# mke2fs -V
mke2fs 1.12, 9-Jul-98 for EXT2 FS 0.5b, 95/08/09
Using EXT2FS Library version 1.12
