There are plenty of people who would happily work as filters for parts
of Linus mailbox. In fact much of it exists to an extent but isnt used
enough. There is a reason I stuck the MAINTAINERS file in a patch and sent
it to Linus a long time ago - so that stuff does get filtered. A lot of patches
should be filtered via the maintainer trees.

It would help everyone if people used the network of maintainers more. It also
is often more speedy because there are some people and some areas where
Linus knows he can trust them not to do anything too stupid and thus think
less.

Trust is a big problem for any kind of assistant. An assistant who isnt
totally trusted is a hinderance not a gain.
