I am sorry to clutter the list with this silly question, but I am new to
this wonderful OS.I have gotten RedHat successfully installed, and am
quite happy with it. I would like to start to customize the kernel a
little bit. I have looked all over and found many conflicting ideas on
how to do this. I have successfully gone through the part of "make
menuconfig" . After this step, is where I am finding conflicting
information. If anyone could give me somewhere to go look, or explain to
me the steps to get the kernel compiled correctly and installed ready to
boot I would appreciate it.

Thanks
