Yes, it's about the double. For signal power you need the square of the
amplitude. For 1 bit you have:
10*log10(2^2) = 20*log10(2) = 6.02 dB
Since 16 bit CDDA is signed, the SNR is 20*log10(2^15) = 90.31 dB.
