2.1.121 breaks compilation, initmem_freed undefined

if CONFIG_FB is not set, linking vmlinux breaks with

fs/fs.o: In function `change_root':
fs/fs.o(.text+0x5a0f): undefined reference to `initmem_freed'

because initmem_freed is still used in fs/super.c.
