Excuse me??? What has TRANS.TBL have to do with Rockridge?
This is the second time in two weeks that I've seen this silly mixup
somewhere. TRANS.TBL has nothing to do with Rockridge. Rockridge
uses the SUSP and RR supplimental records in iso9660 while TRANS.TBL
is simply an ascii mapping table. If you are using mkisofs to build
your CD image, you will notice that there are two totally independent
options for Rockridge (-r and -R) or TRANS.TBL (-T).

Maybe you are suggesting a TRANS.TBL like scheme but let's not
insult Rockridge by calling it Rockridge...
