I fired up the new kernel only to find out that realvideo doesn't work
anymore because it was decided that we should use "more logical O_NONBLOCK
semantics" Now, it would be nice if there was some warning before breaking
apps.

<rant>
Tom, you've broken other stuff before in the sound stuff if I remember
correctly in particular the GUS stuff which I have to go back in and fix.
Please do NOT do this. Do try to test your stuff out instead of people
saying "well I guess we can use LD_PRELOAD to override but if you are on
libc you are SOL". If you are going to make changes like this, at least
include a config option of USE_LAME_NBLOCK_INSTEAD_OF_NONBLOCK or
something.
</rant>

Commercial companies don't change their programs quickly, it is annoying
to have stuff break when you least expect it.
