Got the following "funny" when trying to build 2.1.120:

gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/local/src/linux-2.1/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=586 -DEXPORT_SYMTAB -c apm_bios.c
apm_bios.c: In function `apm_get_event':
apm_bios.c:475: fixed or forbidden register was spilled.
This may be due to a compiler bug or to impossible asm
statements or clauses.
cpp: output pipe has been closed
make[3]: *** [apm_bios.o] Error 1

gcc-2.8.1, glibc-2.0.6.

Any idea what's causing this? I'll disable APM and press on in the
meantime...
