New devfsd available

Hi, all. I've just released a new version of my devfsd (devfs
daemon) at: http://www.atnf.csiro.au/~rgooch/linux/

This works with devfs-patch-v59 (sorry about the flood of those
patches: v58 and v59 only fixed problems related to the new feature in
devfsd).

The new feature is that asynchronous device open events are now
supported (and by symmetry, device close events too). What this means
is that you can configure devfsd to run a programme when a device is
opened (i.e. when no other process currently has it open) and later
run another programme when the last process closes it.

You could use this feature to change the protection on devices like
the floppy and sound devices to be the same as the owner of the
first virtual console.

Other uses probably also exist :-)

Regards,

Richard....
