The 'mirror' program will be better, as the wget method does not
delete obsolete files and doesn't give you the flexibility and
configurability you might want.
> Contact the site you wish to mirror so they can announce that you
> are an official mirror.
This is crucial... Otherwise your mirror site probably won't
be used ;)
