Note that 2.1.117 also locks up my machine, it just took a little longer
then 116. 2.1.102 has yet to lock up on me. I'm at a loss for how to debug
these things.

(This is a little embarrassing because I do embedded programming all the
time, and little things like deadlocks never stopped me before:-/)
