If you are suggesting that linux isnt ``fairly conservative'', thats
unfair. The change was announced in 1.3.*, IIRC.. which means a LOT of
time; 1.3 got into 100+ and 2.1 is now 2.1.117, so people
shouldnt be too surprised of it. (Although I must admit it took me a
little to figure out why I couldnt telnet anymore:)
